We are currently seeking a part-time Rehab Tech to join our exceptional team in Wayne. The ideal candidate will combine an engaging personality with an ability to maintain organization in a busy environment. This customer-oriented individual will also be able to meet the following job description and possess the following skills requirements. An extensive training program will ensure proficiency prior to independent work.
Responsibilities:
Prepares treatment area for patient as directed by the physical therapists. Maintains patient confidence and privacy by following HIPPA protocols. Maintains physical therapy supply inventory as directed by supervisor. Maintains facility cleanliness in all areas of the clinic. Completes daily laundry needs of facility. Follow direction of the physical therapist on duty. Other office duties as requested by supervisor.
Qualifications/Skills: Create and maintain a safe effective environment, Excellent Verbal Communication skills, Ability to effectively listen and process information, Exhibit a positive attitude towards others, Patient Service experience, Ability to contribute independent thoughts and ideas, Multi-tasking, Degree or associated experience in Exercise Science, Athletic Training, Physical or Occupational Therapy, or experience working in these environments preferred, Knowledge of basic exercises and exercise equipment, Available to work evenings.
