JOB SUMMARY
-
The System Analyst is responsible for the technology implementation and development of clinical and diagnostic systems and working directly with the Systems Administrators and department stakeholders. Daily tasks will include working on trouble tickets, project management of systems installations of information technology products and services. Working with department stakeholders on process improvement using technology, testing plans and downtime procedures. Working after hours and weekends may be required during maintenance or when outages occur.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
-
Education/Experience: Technical school graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline AND three (3) years experience in technical clinical or diagnostic systems OR five (5) years experience in technical clinical or diagnostic systems, three (3) of which must be at St. Luke’s in lieu of education requirement.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline.

Experience: Five (5) years previous experience in technical clinical or diagnostic systems. Experience in project management.

Licensure/Certification/Registration: MCSE.

Technical understanding of a wide variety of technologies and systems used including knowledge of Microsoft Technologies, MSSQL, Database, Networking, Meditech, Project Management and Virtualization will be necessary.

READING - Intermediate: Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

WRITING - Intermediate: Ability to write routine reports, correspondence, or procedures.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS - Intermediate Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals and to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw or interpret bar graphs to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
