Summary: As a Business Development Manager at St Petersburg College, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our Business. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and achieving sales targets.
Essential Responsibilities:
Sales and Client Acquisition:
- Prospect, identify, and generate new business opportunities through various channels.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential clients.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Collaborate with the sales team to share market insights and best practices.
- Attend industry events and conferences to network and generate leads.
Client Relationship Management:
- Nurture and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to maximize upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Understand clients' business needs and provide tailored solutions for their challenges.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of products or services to clients.
- Conduct regular check-ins with clients to assess satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
Proposal Development and Presentation:
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients.
- Create detailed proposals outlining the value proposition and benefits of our products/services.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to secure profitable agreements.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and opportunities in the CRM system.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, including key metrics and achievements.
- Analyze market trends and customer feedback to refine sales strategies.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.*
- Proven track record in business development and achieving sales targets.
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in Business or related field.
