What You Get to Do
- Direct, oversee, and supervise commercial construction projects to ensure they are completed on time and meet or exceed the customer’s requirements.
- Have adequate knowledge of overall project construction techniques and practices to be able to provide oversight of all phases of project from start of ground work to close out of project with owner and permit agency.
- Coordinate subcontractors and the construction team to meet contractual conditions of performance. Have the same actual on-site construction knowledge as the site superintendent in order to coordinate full buyout of all scopes of work and resolve any problems that arise.
- Manage with little oversight commercial construction projects of varying types in all phases to include design review/coordination, owner coordination, estimating, project buyout, project start up requirements, all phases of construction, project cost review/management, project closeout, warranty.
- Review projects on a daily basis to ensure quality construction standards exist and estimates remain within budget.
- Prepare and estimate budget costs for construction by studying plans, drawings, and specifications.
- Assemble accurate and well-organized estimates and proposals in a timely manner for Stipulated Price, Design-Build and Construction/Project Management formatted projects.
- Resolve cost difference by analyzing and collecting required information.
The Experience We Seek
What is Required
- Previous experience overseeing projects into the $10 million range.
- Experience in the commercial general contractor sector of the construction industry.
- Experience with multi-family housing projects.
- Minimum 8 years' experience working in the construction field in similar or related position.
- Must have US Citizenship

- Ability to manage large and complex building projects
- Have energy and drive to be the main driving force on each project responsible for managing
- Be an assertive leader that gains the respect of subcontractors and Stack superintendents by showing knowledge of construction and processes
- Ability to navigate specifications and plans

- Knowledge of the latest building codes

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
