Deputy General Manager
Your tasks
* Managing and supervising the entrusted group of employees and recruiting new employees
* Independent management of assigned projects in the field of Rail Vehicles Maintenance
* Support the General Manager and perform the duties in their absence
* Ensuring trouble-free operations of the Maintenance Facility
* Meeting budget assumptions while maintaining the required quality standards
* Scheduling of personnel and maintenance work orders
* New hire training programs and certification: FRA training plans 238, 242, 217, GCOR training program, EATC training program, Blue Signal training program including re-certification on all above classes every two years
* Procurement and Inventory Control of entrusted goods including cross train on accounting items
* Cross train on payroll and time keeping systems
* Developing a mover program for Diesel Multiple Units (Passenger Rail Vehicles)
* Tracking specialty tools and its calibrations
* Compliance with internal occupational health and safety and environmental protection regulations
* Representing the company to customers, suppliers and stakeholders
* Reporting your own work to direct supervisor
Your profile
* Must have at least 10 years of experience in Passenger Rail Operations including working knowledge of 49 CFR Parts 200-299
* 5 years Leadership experience in multiple functional areas
* Excellent ability to lead teams of various sizes including planning work blocks and scheduling of personnel
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Expert application of Rail Vehicles Maintenance methodology
* Budget management experience required
* Strong practical experience with Microsoft Office
* Strong collaboration and team-building skills
* Outstanding organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking
* Have a working knowledge of Safety Plans and creating a safe working environment
* Have the ability to travel up 20-30%
* Valid US Driver's license and Passport
