We are in search of a dynamic and experienced Staff Accountant to join our fast-paced finance team. This role is tailored for individuals who excel in challenging environments and possess a sharp eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial data and prepare reports and recommendations.
- Review, verify, and approve transactions and journal entries.
- Actively participate in the month-end close process.
- Assist in generating month-end financial reports and annual budget and forecasts for the Director of Finance.
- Ensure compliance with procedures and internal controls under Sarbanes-Oxley.
- Collaborate with Customer Service Team and Site Operations to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Perform monthly account reconciliations to ensure general ledger accuracy.
- Aid in developing corporate assumptions for budgets and forecasts.
- Conduct ad hoc analysis for decision-making by Senior Management Team.
- Summarize and report analysis findings to senior leadership.
- Participate in special projects as needed.
- Assist in preparing corporate cash flow models.
- Process expense reports using Concur Solutions system as required.
- Provide support to external auditors during annual and bank audits.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in an accounting role.
