What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plastic Injection Mold Operator - 1st & 3rd Shift - $14/hr - Muskegon, MI position at Staffing Inc.?
Staffing Inc. is partnered with a client in Muskegon, MI who is actively looking to hire qualified individuals for a Plastic Injection Mold Operator position. The ideal candidates will have manufacturing experience as well as experience using hand tools. The pay for this position is $14/hr plus a $2/hr attendance bonus paid weekly.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Remove flash from large plastic sheets using a hand grinder
- Lifting & stacking of large plastic sheets as well as finished product
- Use of hand and measuring tools
- Verifies that parts are free of oil & grease
- Verifies that each part has a heat treat code stamped legibly in appropriate area
- Reads & interprets penetrant indications to accept or reject castings
- Monitors the penetrant process to ensure all parameters are maintained
- Completes calibration checks
- Marks defects
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1-year manufacturing experience
- Pass a background check/drug test
- Great attendance and positive attitude
