What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electronics Test Technician position at Staffing Network?
Staffing Network is seeking a well-qualified Electronics Test/ Repair Technician with a Degree in the electronics field, for a reputable camera and related peripherals company in North Richardson. The associate will be using software tools, diagnostics hardware, plus visual and audible cues to test product. This is a CLIMATE CONTROLLED warehouse.
Shift/Hours:
1st shift: 6:00AM- 2:30PM - OT is Mandatory! Will have OT during month end/ quarter end/ and end of year.
Payrate: $20.00/Hour
Responsibilities and Requirements for Analyzing Technician:
Primary responsibilities will be to troubleshoot and test various Mobile/Fixed Video systems and peripherals using test stations and industry standard diagnostics equipment.
- Very good understanding of Analog and Digital Electronics
- Prior experience in troubleshooting of Electronic Printed Circuit Assemblies
- Proven and demonstrable skills related to circuit analysis, fault isolation and root cause determination
- Proven experience with troubleshooting PCBAs that contain Micro controllers, Memories, Programmable devices (FPGAs, etc.) and Low Power signals will be essential!
- Experience using DVMs, Oscilloscopes and other general purpose Test equipment during PCBA diagnosis and repair
- This position requires an ability to operate and support multiple test stations
- Visually inspecting product for material defects
- Perform key diagnostic and quality tests
- Respond to error messages, gather data for reports
- Perform other routine quality-control tasks
- Collect and enter data as required per goals & metrics
- Good verbal and written communication skills required
Qualifications for Analyzing Technician:
- PCBA level troubleshooting experience required
- Associates Degree in Electronics (or greater)
- Has worked in manufacturing environment with electronic products
- Experience with functional test processes, including Burn-in thru final functional testing
- Good written and oral communication skills / Excellent communication skills.
- 4-6 years of hands-on experience with electronics in a warehouse setting
- Clearly prove that they have worked in manufacturing environment in electronic products on daily basis
- Willing to work mandatory OT
- Aptitude and passion for learning new technologies and processes, along with good organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work with limited supervision.
- Ability to work and support management production requirements and meet deadlines.
- Ensure high quality work is performed with repeatability and reliability.
