Staffing Network is seeking reliable and committed Packers for our client's facility located in La Crosse, WI. Our client is one of the largest foodservice distributors in the nation, commitment to quality ingredients, personalized customer service, and on-time deliveries form the core of their service. As a Packer, you will be responsible for fulfilling orders by arranging inventory in shipping containers and preparing them for shipment.
Schedule:
- First Shift - Starts at 7:55am
Payrate:
- $16/hr - paid weekly
Description:
- Fast-pace
- Semi-cold environment
- Production/packing
- Must be open to overtime
Essential Duties:
- Pack meat in boxes, seal, label and stack finished product on pallets according to work order specifications and customer preferences
- Inspecting packages to ensure they are not damaged
- Inspecting shipping containers to ensure they meet shipping regulations
- Assembling daily orders by shipping location or any other shipping categories
- Keeping records of packages including delivery notes, invoices, etc.
- Filling out packing and order forms with the relevant shipping information
- Cleaning shipping containers and other shipping supplies
Experience:
- Packaging: 1 year (Preferred)
- Food production: 1 year (Preferred)
