Job Title: Scientist
Job Location: Cranbury, NJ
Hourly Rate: $25/hr. (M-F 8am-5pm)
Job Summary:
Come join our team! We currently have an exciting 1-year Temp-to-Perm opportunity in Cranbury, NJ for a Scientist to aid in development of potential products, both RUO and GMP, for sale and assists in establishing a process and procedures for their ongoing production.
Job Duties:
- Plan and conduct experiments, analyze, and interpret the results.
- Proactively communicate with supervisor and peers as needed to ensure optimal work environment.
- Discuss research progress with other departments (e.g., production and marketing).
- Shares the results of research with colleagues through presentations or discussions at team meetings.
- Keeps accurate records of activities and results in the laboratory notebooks and databases where appropriate.
- Document protocols, observations, and analyzes data in an organized accurate laboratory notebook.
- Keep up to date with other research being carried out in, or related to, their field of study.
- Provide guidance and assistance to colleagues when needed.
- Assist in the interpretation of experiment results.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment for self and others.
- Advise supervisor of factors that may affect quality, accuracy, timeliness, and usefulness of data.
- Assist in creating kits when assigned to a kit production project.
- Monitor and proactively address back orders and ability to forecast project completions.
Education & Experience Requirement:
- B.S./B.A. Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Bioengineering, or other related fields.
- 1 years of E. coli fermentation and/or protein purification
- GMP experience is plus
The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual base compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, actual experience, and job performance.
