Staffmark, in partnership with our client, is seeking new talent in Phoenix, AZ, and hiring an experienced Service Technician to join a collaborative and quality-focused team. We have partnered with a family-owned sign company that takes pride in its quality workmanship, exceptional service, and commitment to meeting clients' needs. You will play a vital role in upholding our client's legacy by ensuring the proper installation and maintenance of signage and lighting fixtures. If you have prior experience as a service technician, military training in a related field, and previous experience in the sign industry, this direct-hire position could be the perfect position for you!
Pay: $23-$30 per hour (Based on experience)
1st Shift Hours: 5 am - 3:30 pm, Monday-Friday with opportunities for overtime
Essential Functions:
- Perform service calls to diagnose and repair customers' sign and lighting issues.
- Install new signs according to specifications.
- Demonstrate proficiency with basic hand and power tools.
- Utilize introductory electrical knowledge, including the use of a voltmeter and understanding of wiring principles.
- Exhibit a sense of pride in workmanship to ensure all installations and repairs meet high-quality standards.
- Employ creative problem-solving skills to address unexpected challenges.
- Interact with the public courteously and professionally.
- Uphold safety standards at all times, including the use of safety gear when working at heights.

Requirements:
- At least one year of construction and installation experience. One year of service technician experience is highly preferred.
- Crane certification, 6G welding certification, and electrical experience (including the ability to use a volt meter and splice wires).
- Understanding of basic hand and power tools.
- Willingness to work flexible hours/overtime in various weather conditions and from heights (typically less than 25' off the ground).
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or willingness to obtain one.
- Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
- OSHA training certification preferred.
