Staffmark is hiring Cherry Pickers for one of the Southeast’s largest beverage distributors with a warehouse location in the Alabaster, AL area! If you are looking for a new career in the warehouse and/or distribution, we want to talk to you! Warehouse environment operating a stand-up forklift to pull and transport product. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 1 year of warehouse or loading experience and experience operating a forklift.
This is a great opportunity to join a growing company:
- Pay Rate: $15/hr
- Overtime at $22.50/hr
- Shift: 7:00am – 3:30pm
- Schedule: Monday - Friday
- Full time with benefits available first payday
Responsibilities:
- Operate a cherry picker or forklift in the warehouse and pull product to fill customer orders
- Load, unload, and stage products and materials
- Track and record units of materials handled
- Understand and follow safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- 1 year previous forklift experience
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently
- Stable, verifiable work history
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Must have steady attendance and be reliable.
