We're looking for a 1st shift Quality Inspector in Sidney, OH, to join our esteemed manufacturing client.
Shift : 1st Shift, 5 : 00 am - 5 : 30 pm (working a 2-2-3 rotating schedule)
Pay : $18 / hr
Job Responsibilities :
- Prepare and inspect intermediate and finished product blends, including additives, resin, rubber, and finished products.
- Ensure accuracy of measurements and use of raw material lot numbers.
- Conduct pre- and post-blending activities, and dry and stage OSM materials for movement between locations.
- Maintain communication with other departments and management to address issues promptly.
- Track inventory movements using scanning systems and maintain traceability through control forms.
- Verify cleanliness of equipment and prevent contamination of materials.
- Load and unload trailers to maintain organized material flow.
- Organize and stage OSM materials for production processes.
- Uphold cleanliness and orderliness in the work area for a safe environment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Requirements :
- Ability to work with computers and operate a forklift as needed.
- Strong record-keeping skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate machinery.
