What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Production Assembler position at Staffmark?
Staffmark is seeking hard working and motivated Warehouse Assemblers for A.O. Smith. A premier employer and manufacturer in Johnson City, located off I26 near downtown!
Assembler will work in a fast-paced environment with the responsibility of performing tasks involved in the production of Water Heaters in a safe and efficient manner. Operates, tends, stops, and cleans machines; assembles finished product; and inspects work to ensure the highest quality.
2nd Shift available: Mon-Fri 3:30pm-1:00am
*Must be available for some possible overtime on Saturday.
What will I be doing as a Warehouse Assembler?
- Assembling components while inspecting for fit, form, and function per defined procedures
- Machine operation
- Learn multiple tasks related to the assigned production area
- Use a variety of hand tools
- Work quickly but mindfully with minimal errors/mistakes
- Maintain a clean and safe production area
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED required (need to provide physical copy or proof)
- No experience required but encouraged
- Ability to lift 30 pounds
