PROGRAM MANAGER
Position Type: Direct Hire
Position Hours: 1st Shift (Must be flexible and work 2nd shift 2x month, etc.)
Position Salary: $80K-$95K
Position Location: Greer, SC
Summary of Position:
Direct, lead and supervise operational efforts and functions of employees within a location/site to achieve financial and growth goals. Foster a safe working environment that will promote customer service and motivate employees to surpass customer expectations. Main customer contact for key account or multiple accounts.
Key Expectations:
- Ensures customer needs are addressed by communicating to client Management and requesting necessary resources to ensure needs are supported in a cost effective, timely manner.
- Create a safe environment to attract and motivate employees to help service meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Proactive problem solving using several established methods such as 5Y, WHY and AD.
- Act as advisor on overall quality of relationship, seeks opportunities, pulls resources, and implements actions to improve and solidify customer relationship.
- Apply knowledge of company processes, infrastructure, policies and resources to plan commit and meet customer objectives.
- Communication with internal company Senior Management as well as Customer Leadership.
- Accountable for the definition of issues and tasks including the scheduling, coordination and eliciting timely cooperation of both the client and the locations teams in order to accomplish the objectives.
- Key point of contact with customer and addresses issues and concerns efficiently, effectively and timely.
- Project Management as needed to achieve company goals.
- Drive continuous improvements while maintaining a Safety First workplace.
- Provide cross functional assistance in completing necessary projects allowing Dept. Heads to concentrate on meeting department goals.
- Proactive coordination of team activities in planning, problem solving, decision making and risk management to ensure continued support of program requirements.

Qualifications:
- At least four (4) years of experience working with TQM, ISO 9001: 2000.
- Working in a safety focused leadership role managing at least 75 or more employees for at least five (5) years, preferably in a manufacturing environment or automotive; bachelor’s degree highly preferred.
- Strategic time management skills.
- Team building experience and leading and engaging large teams and departments.
- Understanding of measurement units and tolerancing; ability to train others in this area.
- At least five (5) years of experience working with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint and email software.
Salary : $80,000 - $95,000
