Staffworks is hiring for an experienced Production Planner for a company in Elmira, NY.
The Production Planner will be responsible for determining and coordinating the use of production material to ensure optimal levels are available to meet production demands.
Duties & Responsibilities will also include:
-Planning and scheduling work orders by compiling and analyzing data
- Managing and controlling inventory (finished goods and work-in-process) to meet customer demands, reduce inventory value and increase inventory turns
- Managing A-B-C inventory classes to meet objectives
- Recommend use of alternative parts, materials, or manufacturing methods to reduce costs - Compile new order information from sales offices
- Distributing and coordinating custom requests, including updating the production schedule database Qualified candidates will have as Associate's Degree and two years' related experience. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
Salary: $50,000-$54,000 annually (based on experience)
