RECEPTIONIST / DENTAL / MEDICAL
Our client is looking to add a skilled dental or medical receptionist to their team. In this role, you will serve as the chief point of contact for their patients. This means that having an upbeat attitude and professional demeanor are essential. You’ll greet patients, take their phone calls, and send out emails to ensure their needs are being met.
You will also help their office operate more effectively. This will include completing tasks like scheduling and canceling patient appointments, communicating with insurance providers, refilling office supplies, and filing documents, among others. Receptionist Responsibilities:
- Greet patients who enter the office warmly
- Schedule, cancel, and reschedule patient appointments as needed
- Assist patients in filling out required forms
- Collect payment from patients
- File insurance claims and generate Pre-Determinations
- Work to maintain a full schedule with cancellation and recall lists
- Perform office duties such as document filing, scanning, and copying
Receptionist Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous work in a medical office environment is required. Dental office experience is highly desired
- Certification in office administration or a related field is preferred but not required
- Superior customer service skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and professional appearance
- Basic computer literacy
- Proficiency or ability to learn dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft
- Working knowledge of dental terminology
Pay rate: $16-$18 per hour depending on experience
Hours: Monday through Thursday 8:00 – 5:00. Three-day weekend – every week!!
Background and drug screenings are required.
