HR Assistant (Grand Prairie, TX)
We are looking for a HR Assistant for our client, a leading global security and aerospace company. In this role, you will scan paper personnel files and upload digital copies to a specified location (60-75% of the job). The majority of the time, you will be working alone or independently in an office environment.
This is a 3-month contract with funding approved until 8/30/2024, extensions likely, and a 40-hour-per-week role (4-day 10-hours shifts per week). This position is full-time onsite at our client's offices in Grand Prairie, TX.
This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to ad hoc unemployment claims on behalf of the company.
- Respond to requests for employee records and files from the legal department.
- Correspond with HR business partners, security staff, and others to gather data and respond to unemployment claims and legal requests.
- Process fitness reimbursement requests made by employees, following standard work.
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience in filing, collating, or processing confidential paperwork or similar tasks.
- Ability to follow rigid rules for document handling and confidentiality.
- Ability to consistently follow standard work and training related to document processing, unemployment claims, legal requests, etc.
- Ability to work independently with little oversight, following standard work procedures.
- Reliable transportation.
