- Weekend –Every Other

- Special Skills/Experience required: 2 years
Unit Specifics - Information below is requested for better sourcing:
- Unit staffing description: 4 weekend shifts per pay schedule
- Type of equipment : Artic Sun, HFOV, Jet Ventilator, Conventional Vents, Bili lights, IV and syringe pumps, Breastmilk warmers, Nitric
- Documentation system: Meditech
- Scheduling requirements: 3 12 hour shifts
- Floating policy: As needed
Hospital Specifics:
- Certifications: BLS, NRP, STABLE preferred
Hiring profile
Requested Skill Set:
Must have: (candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role)
- Level 3 NICU experience, high acuity micro preemie experience, strict adherence to infection control standards, Experience with HFOV, conventional and Jett Ventilators, Experience caring for central lines and PICC lines in neonates
- 2 Years of Hospital Experience
- BLS
- NRP
Preferred Skills/Advanced Skills Needed: (candidates with these skills will be considered first) Experience with the following:
- High risk delivery attendance experience
- Meditech Experience Preferred
- STABLE Preferred
Specialty/Unit Certifications Required: (RN)
- ACTIVE TX RN LICENSE – Temp license will NOT be accepted
- RN, RNC preferred
Procedures performed on unit:
- Umbilical line insertion, PICC line insertion, LPs, spinal taps, ROP exams, Body cooling
Patient Experience Required:
- A willing patient advocate who takes time to make a connection with every patient and their family. A nurse who has a “you first” attitude and can live up to HCA’s ALWAYS standards. A kind and compassionate nurse who puts her patients and families first.
Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire.

- Nail Policy – Clean and Healthy, no artificial nails, gel, next gen, etc.
- Hair - hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors. Beards, mustaches and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed. Hair must be pulled back if shoulder length or longer when working in the lab.
- Tattoos – Body art should be covered whenever possible. Body art that is not feasible to cover on a daily basis will be addressed individually
- Piercings – Visible piercings other than ears is prohibited. This includes nose rings, tongue rings, etc.
