Job Description
2024 Harvest Intern as Cellar Hand at Stama Winery Lodi, CA. We are a mid-sized family-owned winery in Lodi. We specialize in growing and making best wines for ourselves and others. We are seeking a hard working team player to join us for the 2024 harvest. Prior winery experience is a plus, but most important is reliability, attention to detail, willingness to learn and desire to challenge yourself both physically and intellectually. Responsibilities include: cleaning, sanitizing, receiving and processing fruits. Making additions to juice and wine. Pump overs, wine transfers, pressing.
Requirements: Be able to work long hours, standing for long period at a time, work outdoor in hot and cold temperatures. Ability to accurately measure, weigh and perform basic mathematical calculations. Ability to work most days with overtime. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Good communication. The candidate must have reliable transportation.
