Duties: Under the supervision of the branch manager, the person will arrange pre-
service training for the new workers as needed and the in-service training sessions.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintains the quality of client services in accordance with Standard Homecare Inc.’s objectives and policies, through planning, coordination, and implementation and evaluation of the home services.
- Coordinates and schedules the daily workload of each staff member/ contractor thereby utilizing Standard Homecare Inc.personnel to their fullest capacity.
- Provides daily supervision of caregiver employees to ensure the quality of services and maintenance of standards.
- Reviews and investigates the clinical content, diagnoses, medical history, medications, fee status and other procedures from the records of clients.
- Directs staff toward the appropriate use of community resources..
- Appraises staff performance during their probationary period and annually, provides the teaching and counseling necessary to enhance the delivery of services and the development of home services staff.
- Identifies and evaluates client needs and appropriateness of home services by reviewing the initial intake screening form before assignment of home services staff.
- Develop the Service Plan after assessing the client and consulting the client and/or family member/responsible person.
- Review and update Service Plans per policy.
- Participates in community related functions, as necessary.
- Assists with the orientation of new professional staff to familiarize them with Standard Homecare Inc.policies and procedures.
- Sees clients in the home setting as needed.
- Participates in client record reviews.
- Reviews each schedule for discharges and direct care staff supervisory visits.
- Reviews weekly schedule submitted for changes or updates.
- Ensures that all pertinent paperwork is in the client record and is complete.
- Ensured Standard Homecare Inc.’s continuing education program i.e., in-service education and continuing training.
- Performs other duties as requested by Standard Homecare Inc.Manager.
- Position is stressful in terms of meeting deadlines.
- Primarily a desk job which involves minimal and occasional lifting of supplies and charts.
- On occasion, one may be required to bend, stoop, reach and move client weight up to 250 pounds lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds.
- Travel is required to and from client's home when supervision of services is scheduled. The ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing in English is required.
- The ability to access clients’ homes which may not be routinely wheelchair accessible is required.
- Hearing, eyesight, and physical dexterity must be sufficient to perform a physical assessment of the client's condition and to perform client care/services.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.50 per hour
