Summary
The Logistics Service Coordinator is a regular full time position reporting to the Warehouse Operations Manager. This role is responsible for controlling traffic flow through the facility: coordinating, and planning shipments in and out of the facility. This includes managing the dock schedule with carriers and drivers. In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for coordinating, tracking and reporting various logistics activities, such as inter-unit transfers (IUTs), return material authorization (RMAs), inventory cycle counts, carrier dwell times, and other key process controls assigned by the Associate Manager of Warehouse Operations.

Essential Duties
- Controls traffic flow through the facility; coordinating, and planning shipments in and out of the facility. This includes managing the dock schedule with carriers and drivers.
- Manages the Dock Schedule and ensures that carrier arrival and departure are recorded and maintained in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Assures that all inbound and outbound shipments are gated in and out of the WMS.
- Confirms shipments pick-up and delivery appoints, and validate proper documentations, i.e. POs, order or sales number.
- Coordinate load shipment planning and scheduling through the Warehouse Leads to achieve shipment service reliability and cost targets.
- Coordinate, track and report various logistics activities, such as inter-unit transfers (IUTs), return material authorization ( RMAs), inventory cycle counts, carrier dwell times, and other key process control measures to assure performance targets are met.
- Proactively run reports to help track and monitor shipping/warehouse operations.
- Communicate concerns and issues, work with team members for resolution.
- Collaborate with Corp. Supply Planners, site Production Planners and Fleet Planner through the integrated planning process to establish monthly inventory levels and shipment volumes. This includes performing related analyses of logistics operations and team performance metrics.
- Continually work to identify and capture cost saving opportunities and operational improvements.
- Work effectively as a team member, creating a collaborative teamwork and productive work environment.
- Cross train and act as the back-up for the Warehouse Lead position as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Process paperwork for shipments, including BOL, packing slip and depletion
- Post receipts for deliveries, including PeopleSoft and Maximo
- Coordinate all outbound trucks, orders, load types and correct doors based on order number and load type. All orders are categorized based on product mix and delegated to location
- Highschool Diploma or equivalent
- 1 years of supply chain experience
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- 3 years of experience in standard warehouse concepts, practices and procedures
- Proficiency in G Suite (Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Documents, Google Calendar, etc.)
- Proven ability to teach and train other employees on processes and procedures
