What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concessions position at StandGuard Aquatics?
Concessions Attendants are responsible for maintaining operations and assisting customers at the Concessions stand. This position assists in setting the example and ensuring the highest level of guest experience in concessions and reports to the Concessions Lead.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to provide excellent guest service while working in a very fast-paced environment

Serve food, beverages, or desserts to customers in a very fast-paced environment
-
Proper cash handling including, greet and service guests at the registers, taking orders, and accepting payments, handling cash, debit and credit cards

Replenish foods at serving stations
-
Prepare food such as popcorn, hot dogs, ice cream dishes, and fountain sodas, using standard formulas or following directions.

Prepare bills for food, using cash registers, calculators, or adding machines; and accept payment and make change.

Scrub and polish counters, steam tables, and other equipment, and clean dishes and fountain equipment

Inventory control: Assess inventory and assist in preparing product orders as necessary

Stock and restock items as necessary

Insure all sanitation procedures are followed relating to all local licensing regulations
QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Must be 15 years of age or older
-
Prior concessions and bar experience preferred including POS systems and purchasing

Must utilize excellent guest service skills to enhance the museum experience and meet the needs of museum guests with a positive attitude

Must be able to multi-task and be self-motivated

Must be able to communicate clearly with patrons about parks/pools services, products, and programs

Possesses excellent cash handling skills and knowledge of daily sales reporting

Adherence to a uniform policy and grooming standards -must present a neat, professional appearance

Qualified candidate will be a mature, responsible, dependable individual who enjoys working in a fast paced environment

Must satisfactorily fulfill all departmental training requirements

Must obtain food handler’s license

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Standing, stooping, and bending for long periods of time

Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, holidays and special events
