Position Summary
Provides technical support for Stanion Wholesale Electric users. Installs and maintains the organization's computer hardware, software, and network infrastructure. Sets up user accounts and profiles. Troubleshoots problems that arise and resolves them in a minimally disruptive manner. Assists with training end users.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands on support for employees who are experiencing desktop hardware, software, mobile, audio/visual, and networking issues and provide complete follow-through to successful resolution. Be proactive in identification of problems to reduce end user downtime.
- Plan, schedule and execute computer equipment installations, backups, imaging, upgrades, and replacement projects.
- Manage and prioritize tasks efficiently. Log, update, monitor and follow up on support requests or work orders within the context of IT Manager.
- Installs and supports printers, scanners, phones. Determines whether service calls need to be made. This may require traveling to multiple branches and occasional overnight travel.
- The job described includes: Network Security, Active Directory, Server maintenance/patches, O365 or other things that are or may be necessary to fulfill the overall purpose of the job. Please note that the employment policies of this Company are a part of this job description.
- Attends training sessions and department meetings as requested.
Skills/Physical Demands/Additional Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Driver’s license that meets job requirements and a motor vehicle driving record that satisfies the requirements of our casualty and liability insurance program. For the state of KS Class-C, MO Class-E & OK Class-D.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds on an infrequent basis and 25 pounds on a frequent basis.
