The Job:

As a Channel Manager, you'll be part of our Channel Marketing team working as a virtual employee. You'll get to:
  • Direct and coordinate strategic marketing activities to achieve operating plans for the business; you'll have overall responsibility for the profitability, promotion, pricing, merchandising and new product plans for PTG within ACE / Big 4/RW channels
  • Work with the Commercial teams in collaboration with Product, Brand, Supply Chain and Finance to develop strategic initiatives
  • Present new products, merchandising, and promotional strategies to buyers and successfully execute market communication plans and new product launches
  • Interface with Brand Marketing team for production of point of purchase materials
  • Analyze and track POS, inventory, market share, and competitive landscapes
  • Track program/promotional effectiveness and recommend changes and improvements, as required
  • Work closely with the Sales and Finance teams to manage listings, maximizing sales and profitability via mix management, promotional opportunities, and pricing actions
  • Makes sound business decisions to drive top and bottom lines, driven by a holistic understanding of the channel P&L

The Person:

  • A minimum of five plus (5 ) years of Product, Sales and/or Marketing experience within the Retail space with a record of demonstrated achievement in sales growth and margin accretion
  • Effective project management skills; strong interpersonal, conflict management, and verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid analytical skills with good understanding of key business and financial metrics such as Sales, Gross Margins, Operating Margins, Inventory Turns, etc.
  • Can-do mindset with a passion for problem-solving and commitment to excellence and continuous improvement
  • Strong attention to detail; strong multi-tasking ability; and ability to manage deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency required; Knowledge of SalesForce, SAP, BW, Ariba a plus
