PHYSICAL STANDARDS :
The Position requires:
1. Wearing personal tool belt when needed on the job.
2. Lifting 50 pounds, unassisted, 20 times per day.
3. Constantly moving about on the feet.
4. Completing a full day’s assignment involving one or more of the following: bending, stooping, squatting, crawling, climbing, kneeling, balancing, pushing, pulling, reaching over head and repetitive use of arms, hands and fingers.
5. Operating aerial lifts.
6. Wearing all personal protective equipment at all times as required by the specific task: eye and face protection, leather work boots, hand protection, head protection, respirator, arc flash protection, etc.
7. Climbing and working from all types of ladders: step ladders up to 14’, “A” frame ladders, and all size extension ladders.
8. Capable of carrying and relocating up to a 12’ step ladder by one’s self.
9. Operating company vehicles with manual or automatic transmission.
10. Working a 40 hour work week, with overtime and off-hour shifts as required.
11. Possession of good hearing, normal or corrected.
12. Possession of good vision, normal or corrected.
13. Positive identification of wiring colors.

WORKING CONDITIONS :
The positions requires:
1. Working in extreme weather conditions and elements, indoor or outdoor, including heat, cold, rain, mud, dust and snow depending on the job location.
2. Potential short term “out of town” work.
3. Working in and around restricted/confined spaces, manholes, utility tunnels, crawl spaces, attics, clean-rooms, raised metal floors or excavations.
4. Working on or around slippery or uneven surfaces.
5. Working in or around ditches, trenches and excavations.
6. Working in and around exposures typical of a heavy construction site.
7. Working from various heights of up to 120’ via ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks, and other safe work platforms/areas.
