Homans Associates (HA) is a subsidiary of the largest independent HVAC/R distribution company in the world, Watsco, Inc. We proudly distribute the Mitsubishi and Bryant brands of HVAC equipment, as well as a full line of HVAC residential and commercial parts, supplies, and accessories. We have locations throughout New England, New York, and New Jersey. We currently have an opening for a Territory Manager in Edison NJ. There is no relocation assistance offered for this position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sources.
- Travels through assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders or talks with customers on sales floor or by phone.
- Displays or demonstrates product, using samples or catalog, and emphasizes salable features.
- Negotiates pricing based on what the market will bear while maintaining profit goals of the company.
- Achieve or exceed territory sales budget as well as contributing additional sales to help achieve overall regional sales budgets.
- Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.
- Estimate date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm's delivery schedules.
- Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts.
- Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database.
- Develops and maintains relationships with purchasing contacts along with providing information to help set usage levels.
- Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries and products.
- Attends trade shows.
