The Role:
As Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of maintenance and related repairs of mill machinery and mechanical equipment. You will install, maintain, test, and repair various electrical components and systems.
What A Day In The Life Looks Like:
Machinery Repair and Electrical Maintenance:
- Conduct routine and emergency repairs on machinery to minimize downtime
- Proficiently interpret and analyze electrical schematics to diagnose and resolve electrical issues
Preventative Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to extend the lifespan of machinery
- Perform regular inspections to identify potential issues before they escalate
- Lead troubleshooting efforts to identify and address mechanical and electrical issues promptly
Maintenance Logging:
- Establish and maintain comprehensive maintenance logs to track repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance activities
- Utilize data to identify trends and areas for continuous improvement
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum one year experience in industrial, repair, millwright or agricultural equipment maintenance
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency in interpreting electrical schematics
- Excellent organizational skills
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively and independently
- Possess a valid driver's license and ability to travel to site locations
