The Loan Support Specialist position is included in a workplace model that allows for a combination of in-office and remote work.
As a Loan Support Specialist, essential responsibilities include:
- Analyze customer disputes and respond within timelines established by processes and regulations.
- Process accurately the daily functions of all loan file records from maintenance, payment, or payoff duties.
- Verification of reports from the servicing system to ensure accuracy. Research and make adjustments as warranted to confirm integrity of data.
- Perform any and all research necessary to effectively resolve outstanding issues and process needed corrections.
- Process transactions as requested by Asset Management Department; charge offs, non-accruals, risk ratings, other assets.
- Reconcile bank controlled accounts and associated general ledgers.
- Receives incoming calls and works to resolve inquiries or problems or escalate to the appropriate associate.
Skills Needed
- Strong organizational and attention to detail skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to resolve problems and issues for customers.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills, including, but not limited to Microsoft Outlook/Word/Excel.
