Aquatic Site Supervisor

Starfish Aquatic Club is looking for a Aquatic Site Supervisor for the following locations:

Clark, NJ

Union, NJ

Parippany, NJ

West Orange, NJ

Randolph, NJ

The candidate MUST have experience with swim lesson instruction and/or lifeguarding/WSI certification.

Ideal candidate:

• Has 1-3 years of experience with teaching swim lessons or coaching
• Has 1-3 years of experience with managing a pool
• CPO experience a plus
• Ability to commit to a position for 1 year
• Ability to supervise others in a professional way
• Train others effectively
• Build rapport with families and staff
• Quick thinking in a fast pace environment
• Can work with children, and parents

Candidate will be expected to assist with managing the swim lesson program in addition to teaching a set number of hours (up to 20-25 hours per week of teaching).

The position would require 3-4 weekdays, and one weekend day (9-2pm).

Candidate must have:

• Good computer skills
• Stong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with others
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to work evenings and one weekend day
