Essential Job Functions:
Skilled in following both verbal and written instructions; mail processing and collection, sort and distributes incoming and outbound mail; operate mailroom equipment. Maintain a general understanding general standard operating procedure (general aspects of the Job), performs additional duties as assigned (to include but not limited to) Work under the direction of the of Sr Operations personnel, stock and maintaining pantries, order and deliver office supplies, stock and organize copy/fax rooms, lifting boxes (up to 65 lbs.), Perform back up Receptionist and other administrative duties.
Skills/Experience Required:
· 2-4 years of Mail Services or Office Services / Facilities related experience
· Good written and verbal communication skills
· MS Office Suite (Outlook, and Word,)
· Familiar with a variety of the mail operations systems, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and good judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York, Starr Insurance Companies is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets: experience and training: licensure and certifications: and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $38,000-$50,000
