Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Here are a few of the qualifications we would be looking for:
- Knowledge of repairs to CNC and other machinery
- Able to assist with engineering changes for tooling
- Die repair and die tryout
- Knowledge of metallurgy helpful
- Knowledge/Experience in welding
- Machine building
- Preparing Timelines for New Programs as Assigned
- Preparing for New Programs as Assigned
- Updating the Master Job Schedule with New Program Ship Dates and Updating as Parts Ship
- Preparing Electronic Shipboard for Prototype and Service Shipments when Ready to Ship
- Prepare Requisition for needed Program Materials as Directed
- Follow up on Materials Ordered
- Obtaining Service Releases and Sending out Pertinent Due Dates for Service Parts on Release to Involved Departments
- Interacting with Customers via email or telephone as Directed
- Perform other related program duties as assigned by supervisor
- May need to interact with other Program Managers' customers in their absence
- Provide a written update to the customer on any current program. Prefer to do this task on Monday's unless the customer requests otherwise.
- Responsible for making sure client has correct level math data and/ or prints on each assigned program and getting this information to the proper personnel (Such as CAD Department, Quoting Department, Quality Department, Floor Supervisor)
- Plant tours for customers you are responsible for or if you have to fill in for another Program Manager
- Responsible for requesting drawings for your programs if they are requested by other departments and needed to move forward with the program
- Attendance at Planning, Kick-Off, and Close-Out meetings.
- Gathering information needed if requoting is necessary
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude
- Ability to work quickly and methodically
- Good team-working skills
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of Core Tools and IATF /ISO
- Ability to maintain professionalism when dealing with customers, suppliers, supervisors, and co-workers
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
