Job Title: Recovery Support Supervisor
Salary: $36,000 - $45,000
JOB SUMMARY:
Supervisor will support peer staff in navigating self-disclosure, boundaries, and ethical dilemmas promoting a supportive, safe, and creative environment that involves opportunities to challenge processes, and to question and reflect. Supervisor will monitor screenings, brief biopsychosocial assessments including, Recovery Capital, NOMS and GPRA’s, Recovery Capital planning, implementation of plan, educational services, assessing effectiveness of services, collaboration with other agencies/service providers and documentation of all services. Serves as liaison between peer staff and Clinical Director.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide weekly supervision to team members, LSF peer interns and attend weekly supervision with Clinical Director
- Update program trackers weekly as well as provide overview of program progress to team leader agenda by COB Wednesday.
- Ensure attendance and participation in weekly clinical staffing, quarterly training, community partner meetings, etc.
- Serves as liaison between peer staff and Clinical Director.
- Provide on-boarding training plan to training managers prior to new employee orientation and provide on-boarding training to new employees and interns following the 30-60-90 plan for the position.
- Advocates for peers to function as full members of the clinical team and be integrated in all clinical and appropriate agency activities.
- Assists Clinical Director in the interviewing and selection of interns and clinical staff.
- 100% of the time monitors and ensures peer compliance to electronic health records as outlined in agency policy and procedures as well as monitors peers engagement hours to meet agency requirements and provide coaching when requirements are not met.
- Attends monthly Performance Improvement Committee meeting to ensure compliance with agency standards.
- Understand the certification and recertification requirements for CRPS through the FL Certification Board.
- Provide advocacy and Outreach for the organization and community for treatment and recovery support services
Education:
Minimum High School Diploma or GED equivalence.
Certifications:
Mist be a certified Recovery Peer Specialist
Must have a National Certified Peer Specialist (NCPS) Certification or be eligible for the certification and pass the exam within 12 months of hire.
Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of 6 years experience working as a peer.
- Must have knowledge and understanding of substance use treatment and recovery support services too include knowledge of 65-D30 and FS 397.417.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written forms.
- Demonstrated organizational skills required.
