What are the responsibilities and job description for the Home Health Scheduler position at STAT Home Health?
STAT Home Health in Ville Platte, LA is currently seeking a Scheduler to work in collaboration with the clinical team to ensure that clinical staffing needs are met such as scheduling, coordinating and maintaining schedules in order to meet the needs of our Participants.

Essential duties include:
- Coordinating and managing scheduling needs for a large nursing and therapy team
- Collecting, Managing, and reporting of scheduling information
- Assigning new clients to clinicians according to scheduling protocols
- Setting up all home health patient schedules
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior home health scheduling experience preferred
- Managed care experience preferred
- Proficient with computer use and software applications
- Basic medical terminology
- Multi-tasker and customer service-oriented
- Ability to carry out directions and have strong problem solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and be successful in a very fast paced environment
