Position Summary
Requires strong sales and customer service skills and knowledge of business and agricultural loans, as well as deposit products and services. Determines products and services that are best suited to the customer’s needs. Acts as the hub of the commercial lending process, working with the customer, relationship manager, credit analyst, loan processor, and third-party vendors utilizing excellent communication and customer service skills. Recommends solutions to achieve business objectives and assists relationship managers and customers with implementation of financial plans. Acts as the primary source of contact and problem solving for all parties involved in the commercial lending process.

Essential Job Functions*
- Provide customers with a variety of services pertaining to business, agricultural and commercial real estate relationships. Act as the primary conduit between the relationship manager and customer for day-to-day transactions and gathering of information.
- Provide administrative support to the Relationship Manager, including, but not limited to, creating new loan files, maintain existing loan files, ordering preliminary title reports, ordering appraisals, environment reports, insurance information, flood certificates and various other items. Responsible for efficiently coordinating all elements of the commercial loan workflow through loan documentation and closing.
- Identify needs and cross sell all products and services and handle personal banking needs of business owners and their families. Make referrals to other Bank departments when there is a customer need.
- Assist with the preparation of loan reports and supporting documents, balance Business Banking accounts on a monthly basis and training of new associates.
- Updates knowledge and develops professionally on a continuing basis including regulatory and documentation requirements. Participates in internal and external training and development opportunities as required.
- Provide the customer general support for business accounts, including but not limited to: opening business and personal accounts, process daily NSF accounts in coordination with the Relationship Manager, process ACH & Positive Pay decisions, increase ACH lines, send wires, process loan payments, create Business Online Banking accounts and maintenance, reset passwords, and debit card disputes/issuance/closures.
- Supports Treasury Management with day-to-day functions including customer issues.
- Ability to deal effectively with time pressures and stress than can change hourly depending on level of activity; and ability multi-task and prioritize requests.
- Other job-related duties may be necessary to carry out the responsibilities of this position.

Minimum Qualifications*
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance coursework preferred.
- One to three years finance/accounting related and banking experience preferred.
- Skilled in commercial loan documentation and compliance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must possess courteous and professional customer service attitude.

Equipment Used*
Operates personal computer in a Windows environment for word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, internet/intranet and other bank specific software. Utilizes a variety of office equipment including: computer printer, ten-key calculator, fax machine, copy machine, and multi-line telephone.

Working Conditions*
Work is performed largely in an office environment, during normal business hours. Deadline pressure is an integral part of the job. Regular mental and visual concentration for computer usage and reading/assimilating complex and technical compliance information is required. Position will alternate between walking, sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and occasional lifting up to 15 pounds of office supplies and/or documents throughout work shift.
