Specific Duties/Responsibilities:
· Prepare, maintain, and distribute financial and statistical records and reports related to specialized area
· Identify and resolve balancing and/or reconciling issues
· Adhere to compliance, records management, department and company policies
· Exhibits State Farm's customer service philosophy to customers and associates, and maintains a positive attitude in a fast paced environment
· Develop basic knowledge of financial practices and principles
· Exhibit/develop basic knowledge of computers, software applications, and keyboard skills
· Exhibit effective communication skills
· Exhibit filing and organization skills
· Work with close supervision
· Exercise appropriate level of confidentiality regarding assigned duties and work assignments
· Enter accounting data with an acceptable level of speed and accuracy
· Learns State Farm's culture, aspirations, goals, and strategies
· Develop cooperative working relationships with others and work to be an effective team member
· Assists other units/departments when workload demands
· Meet deadlines for assigned responsibilities
Additional Details:
· May be required to work irregular hours during periods of heavy workload or to meet deadlines
· May be required to work non-standard work hours or work week
· Serves as back-up for others within the unit or department
