Other specific duties of this position are:
- Performs pre-trip inspections and documents on all fleet vehicles and equipment.
- Performs maintenance on vehicles and equipment including auto detail, repairs, preventative maintenance, inspections, and records any necessary documentation.
- Cleaning and maintaining Fleet vehicles
- Responsible for inspecting vehicles and maintaining inspection documents as well as other associated records and reports as needed.
- Monitoring the mechanical condition of vehicles and equipment.
- Perform light maintenance of vehicles and equipment such as maintaining air and fluid pressure, monitor tire conditions, and wiper blades.
- Change the oil and air filters as necessary.
- Aid in transporting Fleet vehicles to outside sources/vendors for repairs
- Clean and organize the Fleet shop and yard

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
Two years of experience operating equipment appropriate to the work assigned to the position.
Special Requirements:
This position requires a Class B commercial licence with a passenger endorsement and any requirements including drug screening and DOT physicals.

Although this position is non-exempt for FLSA, it is a condition of employment at Adams State University to agree to receive compensation time in lieu of overtime pay.
