Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Three (3) years-experience as a database analyst or database administrator, to include database performance tuning, database management, requirements analysis, software development fundamentals, documentation skills, database security, PL/SQL packages and T-SQL-P-SQL query and SQL Server databases and Azure SQL database.
Preferences:
- Ability to coordinate with team members in various technical initiatives and work assignments.
- Ability to communicate technical data effectively verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and work effectively under pressure.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain SQL database data storage and access by designing and physical data databases. Complete life cycle data generation and outline critical information for projects. Analyze business procedures and recommend specific types of data that can be used to improve upon them. Confirm project requirements by studying user requirements conferring with others on project team. Develop conceptual and logical data models, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality. Develop and maintain data dictionary by creating and revising definitions. Identify and implement data migrations. Analyze and develop PL/SQL packages, and T-SQL-P-SQL query.
- Participate in performing database and case management system tuning as needed: diagnose database performance issues; purpose and implement resolutions; analyze query execution plans and index utilization. Perform database restores as required. Perform data exports and imports as required. Identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
- Serves as the data processing administrator for all OECS intake data from various entities and complainants.
- Provides staff the relevant data resources from elections related databases needed for OECS case intake, investigation, and management.
- Assists in the development and maintenance of a comprehensive long-range plan to effectively meet departmental systems requirements.
- Evaluates new or upgraded operating systems and other systems support software.
- Enhances and further develops the growing OECS case management system, where necessary, and manages all operational infrastructure needs as they arise.
- Performs other work-related duties as required.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Utilization of equipment, required for the position.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including SharePoint, Teams, and Power Platform.
- Must be proficient in SQL Server databases.
