Position Overview:
This position will be working with the Office of Licensing and Permitting's licensing systems and providing support for administrative functions. This position will require independent work on technical tasks, communication and collaboration with contracted vendors and various office and agency staff, and a strong ability to be proactive, meticulous, and well organized. This position will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating quality assurance testing and processes for the licensing system, including assistance with scoping of system related issues, resolutions, and improvements. This position will be responsible for coordinating necessary preparation for agency Commission meetings and system needs. This position will assist with system related action items including license setups and regular maintenance needs.
Requirements:
Work at the FWC is cross-functional, meaning duties may cross division/office lines. The Commission expects employees to function across FWC's organizational structure by providing their skills and expertise wherever needed through work on teams or as directed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for following the provisions and requirements in Section 215.422, Florida Statutes, related to the Department of Financial Services rules and FWC’s invoice processing and warrant distribution procedures.
Provides oversight for the electronic licensing solution in the Office of Licensing & Permitting.
Prepares and reviews sales data from the electronic licensing solution.
Organizes, prioritizes, plans, coordinates, and effectively communicates priorities and procedures to co-workers and supervisor.
Interpret laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures related to licensing.
Monitors and recommends activities to meet specific measurable service objectives in relation to agency operation goals.
Performs other duties as requested.
