The mission of the Division of Retirement is to deliver a high quality, innovative, and cost-effective retirement system to Florida Retirement System (FRS) pension plan members and their employers, so FRS members can plan for their financial future. The Work You Will Do:
As an OPS Receptonist you will greet visitors courteously and timely and determines reasons for visit. Answers multi-line digital telephone system timely and courteously; transfers calls to appropriate area; accepts messages accurately and relays promptly.

Your Specific Responsibilities:
- In anticipated absence will schedule relief person.
- Provides Notary services to members.
- Signs visitors/vendors in and out and assigns visitor/vendor tags. Maintains visitor/vendor logs.
- Keeps counseling rooms stocked with office supplies.
- Maintains accuracy of reception area time clock and ensures that proper notification is given for maintenance or repair.
- Contacts proper receiver as soon as possible after accepting freight or other deliveries.

- Skill in meeting and dealing effectively and courteously with the public, both in person and on the telephone.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Ability to verify data for accuracy and completeness.
- Knowledge of basic arithmetic.

Minimum Qualifications:
Six months of professional customer service experience.
