Annual Salary Range: $52,280 - $58,410

The Benefit Program Supervisor leads a team of Benefit Program Specialists responsible for accurately filing unemployment claims, processing incoming correspondence, making determinations, and providing excellent customer service. You will use your knowledge of Missouri’s unemployment insurance program, strong leadership skills, and desire to coach and help others to develop your team into effective and efficient service providers for Missouri’s workers and employers. You will exemplify DOLIR Code of Conduct and ensure your team lives up to the Code’s expectations.

What you will do:

• Supervision of a staff, including training and coaching of team members.
• Resolving complex claims which fall under your authority to address.
• Review work of team members.

All you need for success:

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of relevant experience. (Substitutions may be allowed.)

Desired Attributes

• Comprehensive knowledge of state and federal laws relating to unemployment insurance, and of the rules, regulations, procedures, and interpretations established by the Division.
