Job Title: Education Management Analyst I

Where: Office of State Courts Administrator, Jefferson City, MO

Full-time: 40 hours

Starting Salary: $39,293.00 - $40,829.00

We have opportunities for individuals seeking meaningful work in providing administrative, business and information technology services to the Missouri courts.

We are recruiting to fill an Education Management Analyst I or II position to perform professional work in the assessment, planning and effective use of new and current technologies for instructional purposes for judicial employees on automated systems, software technical skills and business skills and delivery of instructional and e-learning components, maintenance of electronic content, project management and making recommendations for the establishment of program policies, courses and programs. The position is critical in the educational utilization of the Learning Management System (LMS).

This position may be filled one of two ways, depending on qualifications:

Education Management Analyst I - ($39,293) - Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study or court management.

Education Management Analyst II - ($40,829) - Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study or court management AND four years of professional experience in a related field.

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Assesses training needs, development of e-learning components, and maintenance of electronic content
  • Collects and analyzes data and determines necessity for work performed, applicability of work unit standards, workload, projections, deviations from standards and effectiveness of processes and procedures.
  • Performs basic research, compiling and analyzing data, and providing recommendations based on findings, which may influence local or statewide court system policies and procedures.
  • Configures and maintains software and courseware, as well as troubleshoots problems with computer hardware, peripherals, and on-line courses.

Desired skills and knowledge:

  • Knowledge of the basic principles, methods, and techniques of adult education, instructional design, e-learning development and the current technologies available to facilitate and enhance training.
  • Knowledge and skills in the use of computer operating systems and software, including but not limited to Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere, Audition), Adobe Dreamweaver, RoboHelp, Adobe Captivate and Webex.
  • Knowledge of the operations of local and state court systems.
