Why does the job exist?
This position will supervise, oversee and monitor activities of the Disease Prevention Team (DPT) to ensure compliance with performance standards for interviewing and investigation of Sexual Transmitted Disease (STD) and Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) cases.

- Program management including supervision and management of staff and program expansion.
- Maintaining relationships and partnerships with community stakeholders and leaders.
- Participate in Regional and Divisional strategic planning efforts to support the health and well-being of New Mexicans

The position serves the communities of New Mexico and their stakeholders including healthcare providers
Ideal Candidate
- Collaborating between programs throughout the region as well as community organizations and providers.
- Maintaining workflow within program.
- Managing program resources including an understanding of the importance of community voice and collaborative partners.
- Organizing and overseeing employee work performance and daily work assignments.
Minimum Qualification
A Bachelor's Degree in any field of study from an accredited college or university and five (5) years of professional level experience operating within parameters and guidelines directly related to the purpose of the position defined by the agency at the time of recruitment. Any required licensure, certification or registration shall be defined at the time of recruitment and will be in addition to the above requirements.

Working Conditions
Work is performed in an office setting with exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT) and extensive personal computer and phone usage.
