Purpose of Position
This posting will be used for 90 days to conduct ongoing recruitment and will remain open until the position has been filled.
Why does the job exist?
Incumbent will be responsible for all activities associated with the La Posada at NMBHI. This department provides switchboard services 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
How does it get done?
Incumbent will be responsible for answering all incoming calls and refer call to appropriate personnel or units. Obtain visitor information as per protocol and refer to appropriate unit. Will inform Safety and Security of all fire alarms activated throughout NMBHI by monitoring the fire alarm computer.

Experience working with multiple in-coming calls;
Experience providing customer services and foot traffic;
Experience being the hub of comunication;
Experience following protocol for safety, comply with standards, and procedures regulating to department.

Working Conditions
Executive Order 2021-066 requires all employees with the State of New Mexico to provide either proof of COVID-19 vaccination (including proof of a booster dose of vaccine by January 17, 2022, or within four weeks of becoming eligible for a booster dose) or proof of a COVID-19 viral test every week.
The Public Health Order (on Vaccination) dated December 2, 2021, requires Congregate Care Facility Workers and Hospital Workers to have received a primary series of vaccination by October 6, 2021, and a booster dose of vaccine by January 17, 2022, or within four weeks of becoming eligible for a booster.
