Robeson Confinement in Response to Violation (CRV) Center Director
This CRV Center Director position serves as the Director for Robeson CRV located at the Robeson CRV Center in Lumberton, NC and reports to the South Central Region Director.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Managing and planning the overall operational functions of the facility in areas of fiscal, public relations, vendor liaison and human resources.
- Ensure continuity of operations of programming and will evaluate, measure and report on performance outcomes.
- Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders from the community as well as governmental entities.
- Sets priorities and deadlines for operations of the CRV Center and insures all statutory based human rights and regulations comply and determines appropriate programming and operational services and will implement program and facility planning to ensure effective and efficient program and operational processes.
- Implements effective program goals and objectives, work operations, setting priorities and deadlines for the operation of the Center. This includes the areas of staffing, health and safety procedures, fiscal operations, state-wide transportation, program delivery, quality assurance and community and intra-agency collaboration.
- Analyze facility data to determine outcomes relating to evidence-based principles.
- Responsible for personal contact with referral sources, service providers, the governing body, regional and state management teams, professional organizations and educational institutions.
- Spends significant time promoting good public relations with the criminal justice field, general public by establishing open communications, representing the CRV Center at training events and public awareness meetings, staying abreast of current evidence based practices, etc.
- Develops linkages with community resources and programming/treatment services statewide to facilitate goals of residents.
- Communicates regularly with the CRV Center staff, support services, vendors, contractors, other DPS entities.
- Oversees the development and implementation of comprehensive policies and procedures and standards established by federal, state, Division, Department and local programming.
- Approve all policies for the CRV Center; approving authority for all contractual agreements for services and equipment needed to maintain the CRV Center and submits contracts for approval through the DPS organizational structure.
- Serve as the hiring authortity for the facility.
- Manages budget expenditures

If selected for this position, a new salary will be recalculated taking into consideration the quantity of relevant education and experience, funding availability, and internal equity. Based upon these factors, a pay increase MAY result.

Robeson Confinement in Response to Violation Center is located in Lumberton, North Carolina and houses up to 192 male offenders in a minimum custody facility.

To qualify for this position, applicants must document on the application that they possess ALL of the following:
• Documented administration/supervisory experience in a correctional setting.
• Documented experience supervising/coordinating work or assignments of other staff.
• Documented experience preparing reports and responding to inquiries.
