\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nAPPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:\r\n\r\nSubmit cover letter and resume to: \r\n\r\napplicants@tax.ok.gov\r\n*Indicate which particular position you are applying for in the subject line of the email\r\n----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------\r\nQuality Control Strategist\r\nAnnual Salary: $55,000 - $60,000\r\nGENERAL FUNCTION\r\nThe Quality Control Strategist works closely with employees and managers to identify, document, and provide possible solutions to quality issues when it comes to processes of the Oklahoma Tax Commission.� This position is part of the Innovation Division where products and processes are reviewed and inspected to ensure the highest level of standards are maintained.� The main focus of the Innovation Division is to streamline operations, enhance the customer experience, and increase revenue.\r\n\r\nTYPICAL FUNCTIONS\r\nThis job description describes the general nature and level of work performed by employees assigned to this position.� It should not be construed as an exhaustive list of all required duties, responsibilities and skills.\r\n•�Collaborates with the Innovation team to devise, improve and review new specifications and procedures for products or processes, and provides staff training;\r\n•�Oversees process development procedures for reports and analytics to ensure consistency in standards; \r\n•�Inspects the final output, compares it to the requirements, and provides feedback and suggested changes to leadership;\r\n•�Maintains accurate documentation and performs statistical analysis;\r\n•�Provides quality assurance of imported data, works with the Innovation team and divisions to reach desired outcomes; \r\n•�Helps develop reports and analysis;\r\n•�Supports initiatives for data integrity and normalization;\r\n•�Assesses and implements new or upgraded software and assists with strategic decisions on new systems;\r\n•�Reviews and makes recommendations for agency reporting database and reports;\r\n•�Trains end-users on new reports and dashboards.\r\n\r\nCOMPLEXITY OF KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES\r\n•�In-depth Knowledge of \r\no�Quality control procedures;\r\no�Mathematics, data analysis, and statistical methods;\r\no�Multiple project management methodologies, tools and techniques;\r\no�Database management.\r\n•�Ability to \r\no�Collaborate with stakeholders to assess potential risks;\r\no�Analyze existing tools and databases and provide recommendations;\r\no�Translate business requirements into non-technical, lay terms;\r\no�Consistently identify mistakes across multiple inspections;\r\no�Closely follow quality standards;\r\no�Create presentations and/or reports based on recommendations and findings.\r\n•�Skills in \r\no�Strong attention to detail, observation, organizational, and leadership skills;\r\no�Excellent communication, listening, and decision-making skills;\r\no�Exceptionally detail-oriented; Accuracy is a must;\r\no�Strong written and verbal communication skills;\r\no�Strong problem solving, analytical, and technical skills;\r\no�Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.\r\n\r\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS\r\n•�A bachelor's degree in science, mathematics, business, or relevant field;\r\n•�OR an equivalent combination of education and/or experience, substituting one (1) year of professional or technical-level related experience for each year of the required education. \r\n\r\nPreference may be given to candidates who have:\r\n•�A high-level of experience in methodologies and processes for managing large-scale databases;\r\n•�Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases.\r\n\r\nSPECIAL REQUIREMENTS \r\nTelework may be required based on the needs of the agency, division, and section.� If applicable, applicant must be willing and able to BOTH work on-site and telework at an off-site location, generally in the applicant’s home.� Applicant must have a secure internet connection and a dedicated telephone (landline) or smart phone device during scheduled working hours. \r\nEmployment with the Oklahoma Tax Commission offers benefits, which include medical, dental, life, disability and vision insurance, medical and health care reimbursement programs, retirement plan, deferred compensation plan, paid holidays, and longevity payments.
