Position Purpose:
Join our team as a Sales Manager at Flight Club and take the helm in driving our revenue growth and expansion to new heights. Your primary focus will involve medium-to-large accounts, where you'll build connections and enhance revenue through inbound, repeat, and proactive strategies.
As a Sales Manager, you embody the essence of entertainment and hospitality, with well-established relationships among DMCs, local businesses, event planners, and corporate decision-makers. Your standout quality is your disciplined and consistent approach to seeking new business opportunities, which, combined with your unwavering drive for growth and progress, makes you an invaluable asset to our team.
Position Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth
- Manage large inbound leads with covers of 30 and convert at a high percentage
- Build and maintain relationships with event planners, corporate decision-makers, and local businesses
- Leverage existing client relationships to obtain referrals and recommendations, expanding our client base through word-of-mouth and trusted connections
- Organize and host monthly open houses tailored for decision-makers, providing them with an immersive experience
- Oversee all details of contracted sales, including food/beverage, special requests, final guest counts, and payments.
- Conduct timely follow-up after each event to gather feedback and secure referrals and future bookings.
- Utilize CRM systems and sales analytics tools to track leads and monitor sales performance.
- Attend networking events and industry conferences to stay updated on market trends and competition

Qualifications
Requirements & Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, hospitality, or related field (preferred)
- 5 or more years of proven experience in high-volume sales, preferably in hospitality, entertainment, or restaurants
- Strong passion for acquiring new business with a “whatever-it-takes” mentality
- Utilize data and sales analytics to inform and enhance proactive sales outreach
- Commitment to continuous growth, learning, and staying updated on industry trends
- Deep understanding of the convention calendar and strategies to attract tourism business
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency in CRM systems, leveraging them to your advantage
- Expertise in managing a sales pipeline and improving efficiencies
- Outstanding presentation and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize workload effectively
- Strong problem-solving mindset to overcome sales obstacles
Compensation & Additional Details
- Commission, Quarterly Bonus, & Year-End Bonus
- Position is hybrid with expectation to be in venue 1-2 days per week or during potential large account venue tours and open houses.
