How you make a difference in this role:
The position of Program Director 1 within the Solutions Delivery Business Analyst Unit works closely with multiple divisions within the Tennessee Department of Human Services (TDHS) as well as external entities. This position supports functions for the Tennessee Child Support Enforcement System (TCSES) through analysis of business requirements. An employee in this position works closely with field teams, internal Child Support staff, other TDHS program areas, Strategic Technology Solutions (STS) staff, and external agencies to obtain, analyze and provide requested data and document proposals to update and modernize/enhance supporting systems. An employee in this position monitors requests through completion serving as a liaison between the requestor and STS.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide solutions and innovative approaches to support the customer experience.
- Analyze requests from stakeholders to determine best approach for systematic updates and/or implement changes.
- Collaborate with others, including Information Technology and conduct stakeholder meetings.
- Develop/Document business requirements which support the Child Support program.
- Ensure system tasks are completed timely and according to business requirements.
- Respond timely/accurately to system functionality requests.
- Complete impact analysis related to proposed enhancements/updates.
- Perform Child Support system testing for research purposes (and attainment of system function knowledge).
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with Child Support functions handled within the Tennessee Child Support Enforcement System (TCSES) preferred.
- Experience analyzing data.
- Advanced written and verbal communication capabilities.
- Ability to work individually and/or with a team.
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work.
- Proficient computer knowledge of Microsoft products is required.
