Duties

This recruitment is open to permanent DRS team members only. Please do not apply if you are not a current DRS team member.

This project position is expected to be funded through late 2027.

As a Business Liaison, you will be a critical resource for information about the change. You will be responsible for executing a comprehensive user engagement plan for a specific business area within the Member Experience or Member Operations Divisions to ensure that the “voice of the customer” is represented in the implementation of the CORE: PAM project. You will coordinate cooperation between the CORE Project Team and business teams by facilitating bilateral communication, business user engagement in project activities, and training. You will provide advice and consultation to the project team and leadership to successfully identify, define and plan for business change impacts throughout the lifecycle of the CORE: PAM Project. You will also provide coaching and organizational change management tactics to support individual and business team change readiness.

Duties


Some of what you’ll do:

  • Establish and maintain regular two-way communication with business owners and team members to understand their line of business and ensure that business needs are being met.
  • Analyze the current and future state of business to identify how teams will be impacted by change and help them prepare for the change.
  • Champion business process modernization and technology adoption.
  • Contribute to business process, rule, and policy documentation; and user training activities.
  • Support integration of organizational change management and project management.
NOTE: Due to the collaborative nature of this position and variety within the work assignments, it is not anticipated that this position can efficiently and effectively achieve all its objectives operating 100% remotely. Though the requirements will vary and be at the discretion of the team leader it is expected that the position could telework up to 3 days a week, while still being required to attend activities like on-site project meetings, training, and all-agency meetings, whenever they are scheduled based on project needs.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for (required qualifications):

  • Proven experience identifying problems and analyzing business, management, or technology needs to facilitate change; organizational development; process improvement; or managing change. This experience is typically gained from a minimum of three (3) years of full-time professional experience (a Bachelor’s degree with a focus on business administration, public administration, organizational development, or a related field may substitute for up to two (2) years of experience);
  • Proven experience planning, supporting, or implementing business process improvement or organizational change efforts. This experience is typically gained through two (2) years of full-time professional experience;
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with retirement processes;
  • Demonstrated proficiency in developing visual representations of data;
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint (version 2013 or newer); and;
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the following:
