FULL-TIME/PERMANENT HR DATA TEAM LEAD AND AUDITOR HUMAN RESOURCE CONSULTANT 2 (HRC2)Directors Office Olympia, Washington – Thurston CountyThis lead role is essential in providing support and guidance to WDFW staff on human resource reporting and data processing, including hires and personnel actions. Envision yourself prioritizing and directing the Data Team Human Resource Consultant 1’s (HRC1), offering continuous mentoring, identifying training needs, and ensuring quality work through regular audits. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Some of what our HR Data Team Lead and Auditor will enjoy doing,Reporting and Auditing: Prepare a variety of HRMS reports.Analyze and compile data in several reporting systems including HRMS, JIRA, and Washington Workforce Analytics (WWA).Conduct investigative audits on historical data and determine corrections.Consult with programs and HR staff to determine agency audit needs. HR Action Management, Consulting and Filing: Monitor JIRA dashboard for HR action and hire requests. Resolve complex human resource technical processing issues and questions brought forward by the Human Resource Consultant 1’s (HRC1).Consult with supervisor on rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.Data Team Lead: Routinely audit work of Human Resource Consultant 1’s (HRC1), report consistent errors to the Data Team Manager and address training/development needs and/or procedural changes. Mentor and train new Data Team staff.HRMS and Organizational Publisher Support: Consult with Office of Financial Management (OFM) Helpdesk on various problematic HRMS issues and communicate problems and solutions with the supervisor. WORKING CONDITIONS: Work Setting, including hazards: Will work in an office setting - may include working under fluorescent light, repetitively entering data into computer, and looking at computer monitor for long periods of time. Work will be performed in an environment with frequent interruptions by phone or walk-in customers. Schedule: Typically, Monday – Friday, 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.May be required to work occasional weekends and evenings, depending on workload.Travel Requirements: Some travel may be required throughout the state to attend training, meetings and conferences. Customer Interactions: Will provide customer service to various internal WDFW programs.
